The apple orchards have been replaced with orange groves, the turf covered over with gravel and the summer borders replanted with cacti. They’re generating simulations for years in which they already have data. Observations aren’t matching their theories, so they have to make it up.
This would have been a brilliant vindication of their theories had they (1) not claimed the opposite would happen prior to this new claim and (2) had not got this idea post hoc.
I’ll bet Napoleon was glad he invaded Russia during the LIA.

In Bizarro World when people use the energy released by fossil fuels to heat their homes during cold winters it produces a byproduct called Carbon Dioxide, this byproduct a trace gas that plants feed on and that also regulates respiratory systems in animals (“Gas exchange is part of breathing. Breathing is a vital function of life”) it produces a warming effect that causes the entire planet to warm up to a point where the Ice caps begin to melt, and as the Ice melts the wind blowing from the north carries the snow and ice further south and as a result people then have to endure colder winters.

I thought it was snowy winters, but now it’s also freezing winters. Hmmm. Before at least, the link at least had a kind of surface plausibility.
Hasn’t the Southern Hemisphere been a bit ‘under the weather’ as well? Is that also due to the Arctic ice melt?
Researchers didn’t found that: less ice on Arctic will freeze Europe. It came from me, to them. They are twisting it, because it ”contradicts” their previous / original theory. As you all know, their original theory: white ice reflects the sunlight – less ice = global warming. The truth is COMPLETELY the opposite. Nature has proven it over and over
The TRUTH: 1] water has mirror effect also. 2] MOST IMPORTANT; SIX months of DARKNESS on the polar cap; ice is insulator for the water from the tremendous coldness in the air. Ice as polystyrene is full of air – minus that ice on the water > the water absorbs much more coldness – then that extra coldness, in combination with the coldness in the air – radiates extra coldness south – intercepts all the moisture south = more snow in Europe / USA for the last 3-4y – less moisture goes to arctic to renew the ice there = chain reaction has started. Last summer Russian nuclear powered ice crusher ship was taking spectators right to the north poll every second week. Because ice there moves clockwise – every time the ship goes, must make a new corridor. The slices as from a cake floated south and melts in warmer waters. But That naked GAP absorbed extra coldness and via Siberia ended up south to the Balkans last 2 weeks.
Anyway, it’s all in details; on two separate pages on my blog, written 7-8 months ago. They don’t want to admit that their theory was 101% wrong – now are trying to put two feet in one shoe. If you read it, you can understand in how big mess they put themselves with their ”science on the run” The subtitles are ”warmer = more ice” and the other was; ” the Big Ice Age confused even honest scientists” You will have the most solid proofs of their stupidity – rub their noses with real proofs. By doing that; you can prevent next winter of being worse in northern Europe / USA. Because H20 controls the climate, not CO2. Human can improve / deteriorate the climate, WATER, not CO2. Less ice on the polar waters = more extreme climate. GLOBAL warming or GLOBAL cooling NEVER happens! If one part of the planet experiences warmer than normal – other part MUST experience simultaneously COLDER than normal. Start believing in the laws of physics and my formulas. Everything else is detrimental misleading speculations, from both camps
