Touched is the story of Jerry Sandusky’s life in his own words. From his childhood to his professional career, this book goes behind the scenes to explore the successes and challenges that Jerry Sandusky has faced in life, both on and off the football field. After graduating from Penn State in 1966, Sandusky went on to coach collegiate football for 34 years. Thirty-two of those years were with Penn State, as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach under Joe Paterno, until his retirement in 1999. The book also explores Sandusky’s involvement in children’s charities, including the founding of his charity, “Second Mile.”

I still say there were more than just Sandusky engaging in the child molesting. Why cover for a retired, never-been-head-coach, if he was acting alone?
Agreed. It need not be child molesting, just something that folks didn’t want to have made public. It isn’t hard to manufacture a compromising situation for a trusting friend or co-worker. Be it over money, infidelity, etc. Given the effort he went to in setting up a foundation it would not be surprising if he had a number of people in his pocket.
I can’t get my head wrapped around this at all….
Too many people knew, no one can keep a secret like that, too many witnesses, too many times, too many people and too much gossip…….
How in this world did that many people know…and nothing was done??
I’m at a loss……..
If you had a degree from there, would you say anything?
How would it look on a Resume!
Education – Ped State!
And This
but Me, this is so over the top………….
Well it just goes to show how leverage can control what people think and say, now doesn’t it.
And nothing was done….. I went to Fox sports, Jason Whitlock, a guy that knows almost nothing almost all the time, actually got it right and is calling on the feds to investigate this. The college and local investigators have shown themselves as facilitators to this pedophilia. Of course, skeptics have known for some time that college revenue is king at Penn St.
You wouldn’t believe some of the comments attacking Whitlock and still trying to defend the college and Joe Paterno’s inaction. Some are even implying its a plot to take down the football program. What sort of scumbag thinks of the good of the football program in light of these events?
Of course they are going to attack, their total education is based there, and for their instutation to be tarnished like this doesn’t bold well for them when they have to apply for a job or career now doesn’t it. Future enrollment there will be dropping off like the black plague. It seams where scoundrels can find leverage they will take refuge.
Without foots-balls at Penn State, the entire NCAA would collapse. Without the NCAA, Gerald Ford would never become Preznit. Without Gerald Ford, Nixon would be crowned Emperor. With Nixon as Emperor we would never get to experience the joys of having our First Kenyan.
It really is that impotent.
I mean “important”.
The title of Sandusky’s autobiography should have instead have been “Touched Inappropriately”.
