Oldest Arctic Sea Ice is Disappearing
March 1, 2012A new study by NASA scientist Joey Comiso has found that the oldest and thickest Arctic sea ice is disappearing at a faster rate than the younger and thinner ice at the edges of the ice cap. The rapid disappearance of older ice makes the Arctic Ocean’s sea ice cap more vulnerable to further decline.
Most of the MYI was lost during the winters of 1988-1996. There is nothing new about this, NSIDC has been studying it for years. What a load of NASACRAP.
Greatest ice extent in at least seven years
PIOMAS is pointing straight towards zero this summer.
Every year since 2008 was predicted to be ice-free by one climate expert or another. Time to put up or shut up. Let’s see the ice-free Arctic you geniuses keep talking about.

“Let’s see the ice-free Arctic you geniuses keep talking about.”
Hehe.
Well 2012 is another year predicted by some socalled ‘geniuses’ to be ice free.
Of course ice free doesn’t exactly really mean completely ice free. If we go by some experts. I.E as been pointed out before. Even an ice area approx the size of Egypt is still left in the Arctic it would be considered ‘ice free’ by some of those same we ‘genius experts’ LOL.
Time To Put Up Or Shut Up? It’s never time for global warming to shut up.
Obviously multi year ice has a lower melting point than the fresh ice.
