The scientist being interviewed is a major promoter of the current AGW scare and one of Brother Al’s advisers. Al claimed one of the graphs he showed was from this guy when it was instead Mann’s Hockey Stick. Neither this guy or his wife who co writes papers with him would admit the error. There was an ice core that was used in three separate reports with three different results all claimed to have been provided by him but he is famous for not archiving his research which was a requirement of his funding.

The so called expert is admitting the existence of 60 year cycles in weather history. But he picks and chooses his facts to promote the Chicken Little agenda of getting more funding by blaming Humans for recent weather conditions!

It is almost as if this guy does not realize ENSO is a symptom / Manifestation of a larger cyclic event that is restricted or enhanced by other major long term weather events.

Google is an admirer and a firm believer in the potential ROI from Green Investments due to Government subsidies. They may have a vested interest in the out come of the research! I am not a fan of Google but some of the others are more blatant about it!
