A growing body of research is showing that humans are likely causing more than 100% of global warming: without our influences on the climate, the planet would actually be cooling slightly.
In 2007, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change published its fourth assessment report, internationally regarded as the most credible summary of climate science to date. It concluded that “most of the observed increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic greenhouse gas concentrations.”
As opposed to Earth cooling rapidly? Perhaps humans are cooling the planet too much.

we have a long way to go.
The globe has been on a slight cooling trend for over 5,000 years, with short periods of warming occurring periodically. We just happened ot have had the pleasure of experiencing one of those minor warming periods.
They can corrupt the measurements to get any results they want however they can not change historical biologic activity / growth patterns and location.
We are still waiting for plants to be able to grow where they did just 800 years ago.
Promoting the idea that the Earth would be cooling now completely undercuts the activist/warmist credibility because none of them, 10 or 15 years ago, predicted cooling. Their model runs under the assumption of a reduction of CO2 emissions to zero still shows a warming trend. Since no scientist predicted a pause in warming 10-15 years ago under the current emissions scenario, they once again fabricate an excuse for their failed predictions. We’ll see who in the media is brain dead enough to accept such nonsense.
What about the Industrial Revolution? Why didn’t that pump up the temperatures? Oh, wait…
Shock New: If we had to go back to the 1700′s to 1800′s Pre-industrial lifestyle like the punts (Jim Hansen et-al) want. We can say Without Human Influence most of them punts wouldn’t be around now blaming the planet warming or cooling on anyone or anything. A witch hunt or a burning or Three maybe!
