The IPCC predicted that global warming would produce more snow and less snow.

Global warming …. is resulting in less snow, and shorter and warmer winters, said Lash.

Studies by 2,500 of the world’s climate scientists, convened as the Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), indicate that global warming is occurring now, and “that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities.”

IPCC climate predictions are based on whatever last year’s weather was.

Sadly, climate change won’t save you from bundling up, or shoveling. Even in a much warmer world, there will still be colder than average winters. What’s worse, U.S. government scientists predicted last year that global warming will actually increase snowstorms, thanks to the potent combination of more moisture in the atmosphere from warmer average temperatures paired with the usual cold of winter. The U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change predicted the same in 2007. In short, winter storms are likely to become stronger and more frequent, with stronger winds.

That cold should chase the kids home from the park in NYC.

97% of 2,500 climate experts were wrong about getting less snow. Does the fact that 97% were wrong somehow make them less wrong?

There was no extreme wintry conditions of snow and Ice reported prior to 2008, In fact all reports were alarmist about a more tropical change to environment’s such as in Britain and Ireland making the region warmer and wetter including milder winters,
Similar to these reports below, and the more embarrassing reports appear to have been removed or hidden from search engines and web-crawlers.

Search engines over the last fue years have seen the rise in articles relating to Anthropogenic climate change and colder wintry conditions of heavy snowfalls and Icy conditions being a factor of man made global warming in a ‘Day after tomorrow’ kind of scenario. It’s embarrassing to watch this systematic attempt of alarmists being misleading, now heavier snow falls are consistent with man made global warming because man made climate change causes more extremes, if this is true, then in the future when we have milder winters as we did in the past what then?

The Lunatics are out in force spreading the word that man made global warming is the cause of more snowfall and harsh colder winters.

mmmmm, 14″ in some parts of NJ.
Can you find someting that predicts that Global Warming causes 25ºf temps
    in NJ in October ?

  6. avatar Bruce says:

Most snow in NYC in October for more than 140 years. Which given our OWS friends means that weather has a sense of humour.
