Penn State Accused Of Cover Up

Penn State Officials Head to Court Amid Cover-Up Allegations

http://www.foxnews.com/

I find it difficult to believe that anyone at Penn State could be dishonest, and that the university could attempt to cover it up.

Speaking of football, the Ravens tried to lose last night – but Smith accidentally caught the ball in the end zone with three seconds left (after costing the team 14 points earlier in the game.)

Saturday I watched Johns Hopkins University rugby team get obliterated by mens club team who scored at will. The scrawny college kids (wisely) stepped out of the  adults way rather than getting injured.

That holding call against Torrey Smith was suspect. I can’t really blame him for that.

In the great tradition of that other slime, Michael E. Mann. The “E” stands for Exaggerate, as in lying about Globaloney.

Envirocensors Hide Explosive Japanese Satellite Data

Scorching new evidence of the environmental left’s scientific obstruction has surfaced in the squelching of reports of Japanese satellite data, which suggest that the underdeveloped world emits far more carbon dioxide than previously imagined, even more than many Western nations! If the claim is substantiated, it could turn the entire meme that industrialized civilization is endangering the planet on its head.

I saw this story on my own news and though the same thing. I guess they will cover for anyone on their campus. I am thinking this university is more worried about their reputation than truth.

I used to have the utmost respect for Joe Pa and Penn State University, but ever since they took in Mikey Mann and a raft of other ‘climate’ hustlers like “Climate ethicist” Donald Brown it seems like a pall has fallen over the place. The ‘climate’ hustlers belong in the State Penn not at Penn State.

Looks like the Sandusky scandal is painting Penn state in a bad, cover-up related light already.

I am a Penn State alumnus and find the whole matter beyond heartbreaking. In most scandals, the cover often ends up being worse than the crime. In this case, no matter how hideous the cover up, it can never come close to matching the crime.

Kids need adult mentors and many will now be robbed of that experience by a few creeps who pray on them.

Mann’s name popped in my head this am when I saw this news OUCH

I’m horrified that the administrators would not only turn a blind eye to this, but that they would lie to a grand jury about it.

Steve makes a valid point. If they are going to lie, cover-up, and hide this stuff, would they even blink twice about a hockey stick?

I’m shocked! Penn State would cover up the abuse of a child? I think the Climategate cover-up was just a warm-up. BTW, does Michael Mann know Sandusky? Did he get tickets to games through the coaching staff? Was he “Big buddies” with Sandusky and staff? Just thinking out loud.

  8. avatar Andy DC says:

Joe Paterno is almost more a deity than a person at Penn State. I’m not saying he is responsible for the sex scandal or Michael Mann, but the atmosphere was established that if you were in the inner circle, you could get away with anything.

  9. avatar Gator says:

Academia commits one of the greatest forms of child abuse I know of, on a daily basis. Teaching children what to think rather than how.

Mann’s hockey stick is a great example of Penn State’s continued child abuse.

  10. Smith accidentally caught the ball in the end zone…. after illegally pushing the defender away.

Lewis, the double murderer–a fact which announcer somehow have let slip, lead with the helmet—quite clearly lead with the helmet, how did the officials miss it?—when hitting Hines Ward with unsportsmans like viciousness, and, to top it off, aimed at the head.

OTOH, officials jumped on the over-parsing-bandwagon of what qualifies as a catch.

Political correctness is ruining the sport I love.

When will the NAMBLA commission findings on the Penn State allegations be available?
