Steve – have you seen this?:

    http://unitedwithisrael.org/israel-develops-cancer-vaccine/

P.S. In the past 1,000 years only about 10,000 books have been translated into Arabic – equivalent to the number of books translated in Spain each year.

  2. avatar Robert Austin says:

Oh no! The international Jewish conspiracy has taken over the Nobel committees! /sarc off – Actually a stunning indictment of the Islamic world. It’s a shame as Islam was once the beacon of civilization and learning (relative to the Christian world).

  3. avatar Chuck L says:

I do have to wonder why in the last decade, no Jews have won a Nobel Prize. At the risk of sounding paranoid, I submit that it is probably the result of the pernicious anti-Israel/anti-semitic sentiment that pervades much of the Third World and Mideast.

  4. But Moose Limbs invented algebra in 3500 B.C. And gunpowder. And they had toll roads in Atlantis that connected Mu & Hyborea.

  5. The Nobel Prize was discredited as politically biased long ago, even before Al “Earth’s core is millions of degrees, honest!” Gore and Barack Obama got theirs.

  6. avatar Gator says:

“Much is made in our histories about Arabic science, but little note is taken from whom they derived that science, and the circumstances under which the Jews, scientists among them, were forced to convert to Islam.”

“There was no scientific tradition in the Arabian deserts from which mercenary Arab armies rampaged across the Near East, across Egypt and into Libya in 694. The Jews had been long established in North Africa. Eight Berber tribes converted to Judaism, and under their heroic Queen Kahena, liberated Libya. “Lions of Africa and Judah,” the queen shouted to her troops, “show these Arabs that we will never be enslaved by Islam… Let our slogan be the cry of the Zealots of old: ‘Freedom or death!’”

“The earliest of these savants were known as Jews. A great physician, Isaac Israeli of Kairouan, was an Egyptian Jew who had emigrated to West Africa, and brought his science with him. He was known to the European scholars as Isaac Judaeus (Isaac the Jew). His surviving works include a treatise on logic, On Definitions, and another treatise on Aristotelian physics, On the Elements. His great work on Pharmacology, translated into Latin under the title De Gradibus Simplicum, is of extraordinary importance for medical history. It became the standard work on the subject for a considerable time, and was the foundation for most of the subsequent medieval works on the subject.”

“He was described by a contemporary as a man of the highest character, who, although much occupied about Court, was indifferent to wealth and personal advancement… To Israeli belongs the credit of having introduced scientific medicine into Northern Africa, and his writings… exercised no small influence on medieval western medicine.”

“It was from Isaac Israeli that the greatest of “Arab” scientists, Avicenna (980-1037), drew inspiration. He is commonly regarded by historians as Arabic because he wrote only in Arabic, because he was a physician to several sultans, and because he became a vizier in Hamadan, Persia, where he died. Avicenna, referred to as the “Aristotle of the East,” was born near Bokhara, then heavily populated by Jews, and was probably of Jewish origin.”

Arabic scientist always seemed like an oxymoron.

    • avatar Robert Austin says:

The point is that Islam embraced learning and knowledge and preserved it through the dark ages of Europe. The mathematician Abu Ja’far Muhammad ibn Musa Al-Khwarizmi of algorithm, algebra, etc fame comes to mind as an Islamic non Jew of great accomplishments.

      • avatar Gator says:

But not without the help of the Jews. Muslims did not have scholars of the calibre of Isaac Judaeus, which is why he was employed by them, not because Mohammad was a fan. The Arab enlightenment was lit by Jews.

        • avatar Robert Austin says:

We all “stand on the shoulders of giants”. The Muslims and subjugated Jews were the preservers and benefactors of Greek and Roman knowledge. Even the most primitive society can advance remarkably in a few generations under the right conditions. Unfortunately the converse is true: civilizations can deteriorate in a few generations also. So we should never be complacent that our western civilization will endure without constant vigilance.

          • avatar Gator says:

Agreed. Except that the Romans also learned much from the Jews, who of course had longer ‘tradition’, and are still global.

      • avatar rw says:

Islam didn’t embrace learning and knowledge – read The Closing of the Muslim Mind, also books on The Foundations of Modern Science in the Middle Ages (I think this is the title of the book I read). As these works show, Arabs who wished to study science had to have strong patrons – otherwise they could be killed or exiled (as was Averroes).

  7. avatar Ian says:

Yes, but these is nothing at all in this post about the “Nobel Committee” and its make-up. I’d be willing to bet that it is overwhelmingly Jewish. Does it make me a “racist” or an “anti-Semite” to wonder that? If it had been 129 Italians, I’d be betting that the the make-up was overwhelmingly Italian. Also, it is a well known fact that “internationalist” organizations such as those associated with the Nobel have always been dominated by people who identify themselves as “Jewish” (whatever that means.) This list is totally bogus and indicates nothing other than the fact that the people who hand out Nobels are Judeophiles, beholden to Judaics, or Judaics themselves. Anybody got a problem with the free exercise of speech? Most Americans are fed up with the Jews and what they have done to our country, and NONE of them are “anti-Semitic,” just observant of how down hill this country has gone since it became Jewish after WWII (cf. “The Jewish Century” by Jew Yuri Slezkine.) Plus, Kissinger got a Nobel! Obama! Nobels are MEANINGLESS political awards given to those who serve the interests of the internationalist (Jewish) Establishment.

    • All those Norwegian Jews eh ……

      • avatar Ian says:

Look at the thriving “Zionist” movement in Norway. You have likes of Zionist-terrorist Anders Brevik who murdered 60-some children on behalf of Israel. So I think it takes a lot of Chutzpah to pretend like Judaics do not have massive influence all over Europe, including Scandinavia.

        • You should have lived in Germany in the 1930s. You would have fit right in.

          • avatar Gator says:

Especially as a memeber of the National Socialist Party.

          • avatar Ian says:

Also, being a “Jew” has nothing to do with race or religion, I should have said. People are “Jews” by choice so when I say “who on the nobel committee is a ‘jew,’” we should be clear that I include racial “gentiles” in this too. A “Jew” is anyone who believes that religious Judaics are “God’s chosen people” or that they deserve special consideration or that they are somehow not the same as “non-Jews.” So, by my definition, Hitler was a Jew. So, you’re stock-Hasbara jab about “move to 1930′s europe,” dated and ridiculous as it sounds, really has no bearing. Americans are waking up to has happened to our country and who has been primarily responsible, I think that is a good thing. And it doesn’t make us racists or “anti-Semites” to point out the fact that Judaics and “Jews” have been running America into the ground for 60 years. Thousand more everyday discover this truth. i have no ill -will toward “Jews” or Judaics, I pity them all and hope they come to Jesus before Americans find out what “Israel” has done to us and take it out on innocent Judaics. Make no mistake that when the backlash happens it will be “jews” like Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly leading the attacks against ethnic and religious Judaics. thanks, btw, for not pulling out the meaningless “anti-Semite” card. It’s so refreshing, even though you did trot out the old “Nazi Hitler” canard that gets so much laughter from thinking people these days.

          • Right. Hitler wasn’t an anti-Semite either. He was just protecting Germany from the Zionist conspiracy

            ROFLMAO

          • avatar Paul says:

Kind of like living in Israel in the 2010′s.

        • avatar Chuck L says:

Right, and I am sure that some of your best friends are Jewish, too. You are a bigoted asshole.

        • avatar LLAP says:

@Ian: “Zionist-terrorist Anders Brevik who murdered 60-some children on behalf of Israel”

Are you kidding me? Brevik was crazy, simple as that. The closest thing he had to religion was being a freemason. To say he murdered those people on behalf of Israel is an absolutely sickening comment.

      • avatar Ian says:

No, Hitler was an anti-Semite, no doubt about it. Anyone who hates a Judaic person on the basis of their “race” is an anti-Semite. But a Jew can be an anti-Semite just as much as a non-Jew, you would agree with that, right? If not, then why do so many Judaic persons refer to their fellow Judaics who disagree with them as “anti-semites” and Nazis? The word “anti-Semite” today means “someone who a Jew hates.” So, even under that definition, Hitler was certainly an anti-Semite. Me? No way. I don’t hate anyone, and if I did, it certainly wouldn’t be based on race. I oppose the relgion of Judaism based on morality. How can any moral person support a religion that preaches the extermination of all non-members or that all non-members only exist to serve members? That is what the “Jewish” religion (Babylonian Talmudism) teaches: unadulterated racism and hate. How can any humanitarian NOT oppose Judaism?

        • avatar Sleepalot says:

Then there’s Christianity: how can any moral person worship a god who casts souls into eternal torment?

          • avatar LLAP says:

@Sleepalot: God doesn’t cast souls into eternal torment. Since we have free will, souls that go to hell do so of their own choosing. As my former pastor (now retired) once said, “You can go to hell … if you want”.

        • avatar rw says:

Ian certainly isn’t up on Norway’s relations to the PA and suchlike. (Where was the Oslo Agreement signed?)

  8. avatar Gator says:

I think we have another ‘Tin-Foil Hat’ award recipient in our midst.

  9. avatar pj says:

    1973 – Henry Kissinger

    1986 – Elie Wiesel
    1994 – Shimon Peres
These are just awful Nobels. Also, Bellows, Singer, Pasternak, and Brodsky are so overrated it’s incredible. Economics isn’t even worth giving a Nobel for, but the Friedmans and the Krugmans of the world do more harm than good. It’s harder to judge the sciences, but Tesla and Heisenberg’s absence from Physics should tell you something. The Nobel Prize is political and overrated. The one Jewish writer who deserved one, Ayn Rand, didn’t get one. How many science awards did Nazi Germany rack up? Quite a few I bet. Nobody defends Nazi Germany, because the amount of destruction they participated in offsets their contributions. The neutron bomb is a clever invention, but does nothing to advance the theory of a positive Jewish contribution that requires the conquest of Muslims to reward. What about Jewish pornographers and arms dealers? What percentage of criminals are Jewish as opposed to Muslims?

    • Hitler might have won the war if he hadn’t scared all of the Jewish scientists and Polish mathematicians to America.

    • avatar Robert Austin says:

The “Peace” nobels should have been left off both lists as they are hopelessly politically compromised. Prizes for literature are likewise probably slanted towards western literature and the awarding is quite subjective. While politics may play in the science Nobels, there is no denying the disproportionate of Jewish science Nobels vs. science Nobels from the Islamic world. As for Ian’s odious and bizarre views, unfortunately they are too common.

  11. avatar Truth says:

Does it imply Jews are more intelligent and hence their oppression of Palestinians should be overlooked. Does receiving a Nobel prize make someone a better human being. How many of these Jews do you suppose would have received Nobel prizes if they hadn’t had any access to the western (christian) infrastructure – universities, institutions, labs, funding etc. Without western financial support do you suppose Jewish Israel would be able to even feed its people. How come so many Jews received Nobel prizes in economics if their economic system had impoverished the world and turned everyone into a debt slave. How come Israeli Jewish leaders received Nobel peace prizes if they supported the occupation of Palestine and mass murder and imprisonment of its people. You cannot and should not compare an apple and a tomato. Nobel Prize means nothing. Let us go beyond this Nobel prize propaganda. Let us face the reality, let us leave the Palestinians alone, let us learn to live in peace with our neighbors. Let us stop this nonsense for people are no longer fooled by such antics anymore.

Since the Jews are disproportionately rich and smart, they are going to get disproportionately blamed and hated when things don’t go well.

Jesus was a Jew and the last time I checked the Old Testament is a large part of the Christian religion. The main difference between Christians and Jews were that when Jews heard Jesus say to feed them with his body and blood, they took him literally and thought he was advocating cannibalism. You can’t blame them for that.

Actually, that was probably written by Richard Curtis or Ben Elton.

Economics isn’t even worth giving a Nobel for,

There is no Nobel for economics. There is a prize given in the memory of Albert Nobel for economics and many people just incorrectly shorten it to ‘a nobel in economics’.

(Trying to figure out what the % of world population VS % of Nobles is arguing about how many Angels dance on the head of a pin so I’ll leave ya all to that.)

  19. avatar Sparks says:

That is funny, because they are all men except for an estimated 5 or 6 women (I’m unfamiliar with some of the names) out of 20.02% of the worlds population.

All that this proves is that statistics can be used to be very misleading. :)

  20. avatar Sparks says:

Men are obviously more intelligent and peaceful than women are /Bad joke lmao

Well since I was going to do the calculation anyway:

    129/14000000=9.214e-6
    7/1200000000=5.833e-9
    ratio: 1580:1

    Seems low.

And the ratio of islamic women Nobel laureates to…. Oh, nevermind.

  23. avatar Kim says:

The discrepancy in Nobel Prize winners (Jews V Muslims), of the 800 given out so far, Jews have won 20% – per population this is more than any other country or religion on Earth, so to highlight just the Muslim part is very disingenuous. Why not say Buddhists? Catholics? Protestants? South Africans? Australians? Canadians? They all run second to Jews. Good on ‘em and who cares?

    “LLAP says”

The most basic problem with appologetics is that it’s self-defeating: LLAP speaks on
“God’s” behalf because “God” can’t speak for himself – because “He” does not exist.

“God doesn’t cast souls into eternal torment.”

In reality, that’s true since “God”does not exist, there’s no such thing as a “soul” etc..
In terms of Christian theology it’s of course a blatant lie, and stands as a demonstration of Appologetics in practice.
Rule #1 Lie. Swear black is white. There is no doctrine, no principle, nothing a Christian wouldn’t immeadiately throw under a bus if it might gain him even the smallest of imagined “victories.” “You shall not bear false witness” is just an empty
phrase to a Christian – but it doesn’t matter because LLAP was lying about the wrong thing.

“Since we have free will, souls that go to hell do so of their own choosing.”

Here you see that it takes great minds centuries of philosophising to discover that
“God” is not responsible for his actions: “He” just makes the rules, the players and
the pitch! I mean, come on! It’s not like “He’s” omniscient, is it?

“As my former pastor (now retired) once said, “You can go to hell … if you want”. ”

Right, so that’s appeal to false authority and appeal to fear. Nice.

But the trouble with all that is that because LLAP didn’t understand the accusation, he failed to defend it – in fact he admitted the major premise – Hell.

“Eternal torment” is the antithesis of justice and mercy. Your average Christian doesn’t see that because your average Christian has got the moral sense of a three year-old.

The god of the Christians is an unjust, unmerciful monster. Christians should be ashamed to worship such a monster, but they are shameless.

(Oh there’s going to be some name-calling now!)

    • avatar LLAP says:

@Sleepalot: “Oh there’s going to be some name-calling now”

Actually, there won’t be … on my part, at least. That isn’t what a good Christian does. God bless you :) .

      • avatar Gator says:

        That was cruel. ;)

Funny how some folks are biblical scholars by observing from afar. Eternal torment is the separation of man and God. The fire and brimstone stuff went out with the blacksmiths. Hopefully God will bless Sleepalot, and soothe his anger.

        • avatar LLAP says:

@Gator: “Eternal torment is the separation of man and God”

Exactly … and we separate ourselves from Him of our own free will.

        • avatar Sleepalot says:

“The fire and brimstone stuff went out with the Blacksmiths.”

Proving my point about no doctrine being sacred to a Christian: they prefer to “pick n mix” their theology.

          • avatar Me says:

I take it you don’t believe in God there, Sleepalot????

          • avatar Gator says:

No sleepalot, we are just are not infallible, like you.

Also, we can admit when we have been wrong or mislead (see above). We learn from our mistakes, even generationally, and implement proper reformation after much reflection.

I hope God blesses you and soothes your anger. Why be a hater?

      • avatar Sleepalot says:

“No true Scotsman” fallacy, and more pious than “Jesus”.
