For the Pacific Northwest, La Niña is expected to bring colder and wetter than average conditions with increased mountain snow. Those same conditions were predicted in climate change models too.
A complete lie. Real Climate (and most of the other experts) said the exact opposite.
Has Pacific Northwest snowpack declined? Yes.
The average snowpack in the Cascades has declined 50 percent since 1950 and will be cut in half again in 30 years if we don’t start addressing the problems of climate change now.
snowpack will very likely continue to decline in the future. In his summary statement, Hartmann notes that “temperatures in the Cascades will increase in the future as a result of global warming … and it is expected that this, by itself, should result in further decreases of snow
The only expert who disagreed was George Taylor, the Oregon State Climatologist – who was fired for telling the truth.

Is Climategate 2 breaking?

I looked at Tallbloke’s site. That has got to ruffle some feathers!
Damm, I gotta spend the next 2 days cooking. I’m gonna miss most of the fun!
We all know that more or less snow is entirely consistent with a warming planet.
I’m sure David Appell will be along shortly to correct us all.
These aren’t the droids we’re looking for.
