Living In A Foggy Imaginary Past

As far as I can tell, the only time it was ever possible for journalists to photograph the Arctic was between  2003 and 2008. They never have any recent pictures – or older pictures. Their brains reside in a clueless  imaginary world where the Arctic is warm and all the ice is melting.

Goldmark: No time to waste on warming

The real Arctic is very cold, icy and inhospitable. Why doesn’t this journalist useful idiot use a more recent picture?

And where do these morons think the Titanic iceberg came from – 100 years ago yesterday?

    About the Titanic/ Olympic

Why They Sunk The Titanic Part 1

The TRUTH behind the sinking of the Titanic and the corruption surrounding its destruction. Evidence suggests the sunken vessel was in fact The Titanic’s sister ship the Olympic.

    “Emperor penguins counted from space”

“Nearly twice as many emperor penguins inhabit Antarctica as was thought.”

    CO2 warming is BS

“The solar radiation penetrates the ocean to 100 metres at visible wavelengths but to much shallower depth as wavelength increases. Back radiation in the far infra-red from the Greenhouse Effect occurs at wavelengths centred around 10 micrometres and CANNOT penetrate the ocean beyond the surface ‘skin’.”

It is the ocean warming the atmosphere, primarily by evaporation and not vice versa.

There still appears to be plenty of ice in the August 2008 photo. Since there is nothing to compare it with, how do we know whether the ice is melting any more than usual?

I guess just because Big Brother journalist tells us it’s melting, we are supposed to accept it on blind faith and be willing to pay much higher taxes at a time we can least afford them.

And if you read that polar bear numbers in the arctic are up, as counted an aerial survey done in August by the Nunavut government, and reported here -
    http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/1156756–hudson-bay-polar-bear-population-defying-predictions-nunavut-survey-says

Well according to Andrew Derocher, a polar bear *expert* and professor of biological sciences at the University of Alberta, they’re wrong! –
    http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/1159672–scientist-disputes-claim-that-polar-bear-population-is-abundant

So who do you believe ? The people who live with polar bears or a professor hundreds of miles away at university?

As noted above Emperor penguins, in the Antarctic are up, also here -
    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/04/120413145303.htm

I like the line about the difficulty studying them at -58F, but I wonder how long it will be before a comfortable and well funded professor, hundreds of miles away, will tells us these reports are wrong.
