Russian President Dmitry Medvedev ordered the government to start preparing emergency aid for Tajikistan to help tackle the aftermath of an unusually cold and long winter, his web site said on Friday.
Earlier in the day, Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon requested aid at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. Putin “pledged that emergency humanitarian assistance will be rendered as soon as possible,” his website said.
Many roads and bridges were also damaged or destroyed as a result of a long spell of cold weather.

got an e-mail from an old class mate (’76) today…who lives in that part of the USA that never got any snow(pun) called Alaska and they stated they hated this winter…

CO2 is rising and it will cause a rapid, and accelerating increase in unprecedented AGS (Anthropological Global Scaremongering) to arrive everywhere soon. Due to CO2′s six times forcing on AGS the projected publicity storms are rated as severe to outrageously severe.
