The whole solar industry is crashing and burning. They have a product that can only exist if the government props them up through subsidies and/or regulation. I’m not buying that the Chinese outfits are profitable but perhaps not in as bad condition as the US and German companies.
Maybe Julienne can come on to the thread and post nonsense about petroleum companies needing government subsidies.

Bush was not completely hostile to the green agenda. I don’t think the skeptics point of view was aired much until around 2006.
I think most skeptics initially drank at least some of the Kool Aid, until the alarmist’s statements got so outrageous and detached from reality that people started catching on.
The sad part about it all is that there never was a realistic expectation of “green jobs”, because any green job created would eliminate more jobs that actually created something of use.
