People like Hansen live in an echo chamber, but some day he’s going to find out that there’s a much bigger world beyond his small demesne.
If he hasn’t figured it out by now, after 30 years of fairly lousy predictions, he won’t figure it out in the next 30. He will most likely go to his grave convinced that planetary doom is just around the corner.

Draconian environmental rules and regulations are issued with the tag added that “lives will be saved” yet on the other hand, they bemoan overpopulation and there’s just way too many people. So which is it? I tend to think just the opposite of what they declare.
