Globe Now Located In Pennsylvania!

Pennsylvania’s Punxsutawney Phil had the gall to predict six MORE weeks of winter after allegedly seeing his shadow Thursday.

Where has the stupid groundhog been, anyway? How can we have six more weeks of winter when we haven’t had enough cold weather to even call it winter?

I think the mild temperatures this winter are part of a conspiracy staged by those global warming fanatics to try to fake us out.

…… followed by several more paragraphs of mindless rambling global warming crap ranging from ozone to drought to killer tornadoes …..

I started my cross-country trip on Saturday in a record snowstorm in Colorado, drove through a record blizzard all the way to Eastern Iowa, and came through Pennsylvania this afternoon in beautiful weather – with a few inches of fresh snow on the ground in the Appalachians.

But apparently it is now possible to determine the state of the Earth’s climate based on one month in some low elevation in Pennsylvania. Last February, Pennsylvania was up to their necks in snow – but that isn’t important. February, 2012 in Pennsylvania is now the true measure of global warming.

I think you should pose a 600 km question to Kevin O’Neill instead of 1200 km, or maybe a 30 km question.

What is the temperature at O’Hare if we are given the temperature at Chicago’s lakefront? How many degrees (to the nearest 0.1 C) do you adjust the temp based on wind direction and season? Hint: Lake Michigan cools the air in summer and warms the air in winter, and lies to the east of Chicago. Don’t forget to adjust for heat content given ambient humidity.

It’s a website for democrats. Reality does not apply.

It’s not the location, it’s the groundhog. Phil is a top groundhog, fat on digested data from all the right sources. But he can still make mistakes when suddenly yanked out of his lab, and he loses stuff. But for this Phil’s predictions, the sun does matter.

Phil can be extrapolated, or not, depending on the weather somewhere. Maybe they could place him on a small ice floe for future mild winter photo ops?

We haven’t seen DMI Arctic Temperature graphs in awhile, SG. Why?

Is it because they look like this?

As part of a wider campaign by international environmental NGO 350.org’s campaign publicizing the threats of climate change and its effects on the Maldives, Nasheed presided over the world’s first underwater cabinet meeting on Oct. 17, 2009
