Adirondack Daily EnterpriseALBANY (AP) – Upstate New York got hit today with another round of severe weather that snarled the morning commute for thousands of motorists and closed dozens of school in eastern areas, with even worse conditions expected over the next day.
In the Adirondacks, the Mountain Valley Shuttle bus from Lake Placid to AuSable Forks, via Whiteface Mountain Ski Center, was canceled in anticipation of Wednesday’s snowstorm, the state Olympic Regional Development Authority announced today. More than a foot of new snow is predicted.

Of course there is more snow now. Every climate scientist knows that snow is caused by excessive heat. It just wasn’t warm enough in New York to snow back then.
There was to much ice covering Hudson Bay so there was not enough warmth to push the snow south.
It is Hansen’s extrapolated warmth in the Arctic Region that has been causing cold winters in the Continental US.

Pressure systems back then caused the snow to travel further south where it fell because it was cold during the 30s, snow is caused by a change in pressure differences, I don’t believe saying “snow is caused by excessive heat” describes this process accurately, Nor should anyone be calling them selves a climate scientist if that is how they describe the basic understanding of a system. this “snow is caused by excessive heat” theory is kinda destroyed by the time the 80′s came along as it says above “…1980 winter Olympics left without snow. Even tho a warm, rainy winter has left miles of ski trails soggy and bare” also read the end of the article. LMAO
BTW it cooled from being warmer around 1880 to 1906 where it remained cool throughout the 30s until it began to warm again around 1945 to around 1995 where it began to cool again from around 1995 until the present day, in fact 2010-2011 appears to be cooler than 1882-1883 it only takes a fue minutes to check out. The illusion of warming is made only when a theoretical temperature is given too an amount of co2 modeled on top of actual temperature data.
