Channel 4 of the AMSU satellite (near surface layer) does not work. AndChannel 5 seems to be the most reliable in any case.

You must be one desparate IPCC researcher fearing for his funding.
As you know, the surface warming is precisely predicted by climate models to be about 1.2 – 1.3 times larger than that shown at 600 mb pressure in the troposphere.
A couple of conclusions emerge-
1. The climate models are dead-on, the surface cooling is larger than what is measured in the mid-troposphere, and the GHCN database is hopelessly contaminated with a warm bias due to UHIE, instrument changeovers, site changes, etc.
2. The GHCN database and the satellite database are both right, and the climate models are worthless.
Either way, its worse than we thought.

This is clearly data from one cherry-picked weather station!
It is the hottest year ever because:
-my plane flight last week was very bumpy!
-I can’t remember the last time it was this warm at the end of September!
-Guam is listing badly!
-the West-side highway is dangerously close to the shore now, a situation that did not exist 200 years ago!
-the IPCC AR4 projections are wrong, meaning it is much worse than we thought!

A panel of world leaders has the ability to fix nothing. For every dork that couldn’t get laid in high school and went on to be too-smart for his/er own good and insists on being the genius in the crowd…I’ll let you in on a little secret. Go to weather.com, look for “actual” not “stated” temps (for your little town) and compare the same month this year to the same month last year. Not hard to do. Don’t even need a fancy college degree to see the patterns…A few days of sun ten days of “cloudy weather”. It’s so obvious, the charts looks more like a schedule than recorded information… Bottom line, there have been less “heating degree days” this year. And if you spend your day under the sky instead of in a building, look up…watch the sun come up in the morning. Why is the sky so hazy everyday? The hazed out sun has a lot to do with this bullhist. There are no flight paths over my neck of the woods, why do I see so many airplanes in the sky over a desolate part of the US? Same ones, too (take a look through binos). Why are they flying so low? I jumped out of perfectly good aircraft when in the military, the planes flying over my house are not one foot above three thousand feet…
