It is calming and serene, like a gentle ripple on garden pond.
To go with the ‘hockey stick’ theme, though it is still a bit bumpy it could be called the hockey rink.
From the cited NOAA website the annual mean trend for the contiguous US is 0.41 degF / Decade, or 0.23°C per decade.
