Cooking The Sea Level Data Part 2

CU’s sea level map is shown below. It shows 10 mm/year sea level rise north of Australia.

Below is their error map (which no longer seems to be available on their site.) Note that the error north of Indonesia is nearly as great as the trend. In other words, their sea level claims are complete nonsense, even before they add the completely fraudulent GIA adjustment.

Tide gauges in Northern Australia  show little or no increase in sea level. The sea level  numbers being passed off as science by CU make Hansen’s data look first rate. CU shows 9mm/year at Booby Island, while tide gauges show a small decline.

James has some excellent posts on his blog about this…..

Bottom line, sea level satellites are affected by gravity, which pulls them closer, which reads as higher sea levels….
…and the gravity is stronger over under water volcanoes, which makes the water hold higher directly over a sea floor volcano……….

Look at any of the gravity maps, then look at the under water volcano (ring of fire) maps, then look at the sea level maps…..they are all three the same……

I’ve been meaning to put that in a more coherent form, I just haven’t found the time and every time I start to do that, some lunatic issue raises its head that I feel compelled to write about.

But, yes, that’s the bottom line. Thanks mostly to you and Mike. :-)
