Cold Winters Are Snowy Winters

ScreenHunter 04 Nov. 14 20.58 Cold Winters Are Snowy Winters

Contrary to the mindless nonsense being  spewed by Jeff Masters and Joe Romm, snow is associated with cold. The graph above plots Rutgers North American winter snow extent vs. NCDC US temperatures.  There is a strong  correlation between between cold winters and snow. During winters when a lot of cold air moves into the US, there is (of course) more snow in North America. Only a moron would suggest otherwise.

The last four winters have been the snowiest four year period on record in North America – because it has been cold.

Juxtaposing ‘Romm’, ‘mindless’ and ‘only a moron’ is unkind.
    Only if untrue.
    ROFLMAO.

Every idiot knows that only during warm spells does it snow in Florida.

I strongly disagree: hippies are not nearly so much idiots as they are liars.

How many more examples of ‘carefully selective stupidity’ do you all need?

You do NOT pick up water with a sieve, and you do NOT successfully oppose hippies by granting them the assumption of honesty.

Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Cold does not equal more snow, warming equals more snow! Warming/drifing all summer long here in Dallas shut down the highways.

oops.. meant to say “drifting”. Dumb thumbs.
