As February wanes, a Montanan escapes for a ski on a rare snowy day and considers how we could lose winter as we know it – and what that would mean for our future.
By Alan S. KesselheimEssay: Feeling the blues while adapting to winter’s ‘new normal’
The only “new normal” is climate psychosis. Snowpack in Montana is almost exactly normal, and last winter was one of the snowiest on record. The Missouri River flooding last spring was caused by snow melt in Montana.

Winter snow extent has been at record levels in North America in recent years. The Sheeple are hypnotized.

It’s fascinating to see the way that language can dominate perception in human beings. Whether it be the “revelations” concerning the Heartland Instit. (as far as I can tell, there aren’t any) or the lack of snow in Montana.
This suggests that there’s some truth to the old Whorfian hypothesis, even if Mr. Whorf never stated it adequately (in fact, he overstated it).
On the other hand, especially wrt the HI affair, I get the feeling that these people are trying to maintain their illusions by constantly talking as if they were true – talking them into reality, as it were.
Check out the other loads of BS they are pushing at the bottom of this link. More cold is warm, etc. Fingerprints of Global Warming in all of the freezing deaths in the Andes. It’s pretty delusional, you’d like it…

Nothing is more admirable than a short memory…
Now, since we know that climate = 30 years, we really should be starting that bar chart in 1981.
Care to redraw it?
Might be very interesting!
Was going to respond to Lance, but I’ve forgotten what he posted.
According to our alarmist friends, winter snow is not important. To them it is more important if it snows on the 4th of July.
Yes, CO2 can cause memory loss and even death if the respiratory acidosis is severe enough.
