The Climate World Began In 1979

No wonder so many climate scientists are hopelessly confused. They happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and they like to draw straight lines through sinuous phenomena.

…that illustrates the point better than anything

up to 16 inches of the “thing of the past” is expected to fall in the next few days…. adding to the existing base. This at a mere 5300 ft.

Where was all the panic about the temperature in Reykjavik falling 3.3C between 1940 and 1979? Oh, right…

@Steve: “they like to draw straight lines through sinuous phenomena.”

I’m glad you mentioned “sinuous”. I was thinking the same thing the other day when I was on Roy Spencer’s site:

When I saw the black curve, the first thing I thought of was a sine wave.

  5. “they like to draw straight lines through sinuous phenomena” – like the RWP, MWP and LIA.

Who knew? Satellites cause global warming!

  7. avatar Neo says:

You seem to have missed the obvious.

Warming began after the satellites were launched … satellites cause the unprecedented Global Warming of the Earth.

QED the proof is left to the student .. I dare anybody disproved this.

The data for Reykjavik Iceland are shown. Classic “the sun revolves around earth,” the world is flat,” “plate tectonics is nonesnse,” “creatonism,” “cigarettes are not bad for you” single point data that people with the brains of cattle call “facts.” Please provide a similar plot for either global mean temperatures over the same time or from a mean of 100 well spaced stations representing all continents, ecozones, etc. Come on people- wake up and educate yourselves beyond what big corporations tell you.

Look at the decline in sea ice caused by the 1979-present warming.
