Global Warming Hates A White Christmas
This winter has been unusually warm, crippling ski resorts, ruining holiday traditions, and dashing hopes of a white Christmas across the northern hemisphere. While the billions of tons of greenhouse pollution in our atmosphere sometimes encourage freak snowstorms, the primary effect of global warming on winter is, well, warmer temperatures — making white Christmases less likely.
Last year the big lie was that global warming was causing a lot of snow. This year the big lie is that global warming is causing little snow. Winter snowfall has been steadily increasing for twenty years, and the last four winters have been the snowiest four year period on record in North America.
This dumbass author must be located in the east, because temperatures out west are running far below normal. Want a white Christmas? Go to southern New Mexico or Big Bend, Texas. I’m in Colorado this week, and we are buried in snow.

Like we never had a mild December before. I think most people are enjoying it, at least where it is taking place, which is still only about 60 percent of the country.
I know I am. If it never snows again I will be very happy.

I live pretty far east and a snow plow is out side right now clearing the roads.
The average over the last two hundred years is no White Christmas. White Christmas is the outlier and the dream. The ones we used to know were one in ten years during some decades.
How much snow and ice will the alarmists be happy with anyway ?
I live in a place where it has never snowed in my entire life – I don’t expend any energy (rarely at worst) heating my home. I go to the beach year round.
Don’t get me wrong – I love ice but mostly as an adjunct to my single malts. I love looking at snow on the TV.
I went to Munich in February 2004 and they can keep it – you know the old saying – “nice place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live there” – wayy too damn cold when you have to live indoors with heating turned wayyy up for 4 or more months.
Give me that “greenhouse effect” which keeps you toasty warm any day.
