That has always been my take on the multiculture issue. The tribalism that has been promoted in this country is destroying it and we need to lose the tribalism before any type of peace can exist.
Politicians and pundits are more eager to exploit Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman that to try to get to the truth about the case. Meanwhile, Jackson/Sharpton try to pretend gun violence (mostly black-on-black) in Chicago (including Bobby Rush’s Ward) isn’t on the increase. Attorney General Holder could care less about the New Black Panthers’ vitriol yet called us cowards when discussing racial issues.
The sad thing is they demonize for personal gain without contributing solutions to the problems which involve taking personal responsibility rather than blaming others for decades.
I think he mostly was trying to score points with his supporters.
