That sounds like our current day consensus, The Arctic is rapidly melting and soon we will see glaciers to the Equator! Excessive cold in the Tropics is caused by global warming!
The media has been in love with climate crackpots and their doomsday scenarios for a long time. But at least in 1923, the crackpots weren’t trying to shake world governments down for trillions of tax payer dollars.
“Giant glaciers will form at the poles”. How was it imagined that “giant glaciers” might form at the north pole? Just asking.
Perhaps the case of the “hidden island” might be a clue for Trenberth in his quest for the “missing heat”. Just speculating.
