1893 : Four Hurricanes On The Same Day

The record for simultaneous Atlantic hurricanes occurred on August 22, 1893. At least four hurricanes were active that day. Coal powered satellites may have missed some others.) There were five major hurricanes that season, with CO2 at a super safe level of 295 ppm.

    Atlantic SSTs must have been interesting.
    Is there any evidence that the AMO flips cold sharply with a few high hurricane seasons??
